Agent: Stephanie Winter

Kris mostly writes humorous picture books, but is working on MG, YA, dabbles in romcoms, and occasionally writes poetry. For picture books, her style is usually short pithy sentences and her humor ranges from silly to dark. She has a B.A in English, a Masters in Secondary Education, she was a B&N bookseller, and is currently a member of SCBWI and 12x12. Kris has dyslexia and wasn't able to read until the 3rd grade. What kept her going was her constant need for stories. She hopes to to create stories that inspire even those struggling to read to keep going. When she isn't writing, working for a nonprofit, or chasing her kids, you can find her in her natural habitat - the Renaissance Festival.
