Brandt&Stein
Brandt&Stein are a gestalt entity comprising Ted Brandt & Ro Stein. Together they make one whole cartoonist, and their work to date has garnered two Eisner nominations and five GLAAD nominations. They are best known for their line art on Image Comics' CROWDED, which was nominated for two Eisners (Best New Series and Best Ongoing Series) and a GLAAD for Outstanding Comic Book. More recently they have worked for Marvel Comics and DC Comics: at Marvel they co-created one of 2022's breakout new characters, the transgender mutant Escapade, for the anthology Marvel Voices Pride 2022; at DC they wrote and drew the critically acclaimed Think of Me for the anthology DC Pride 2022, which was also a GLAAD nominee. Since then they have written, drawn and coloured further work for DC, as well as provided interior art for Dynamite Comics, and cover art for DC, Vault Comics, Valiant Comics, independent publishers and more. They sleep in England, work in America, and generally live on the internet.
