Haana Yoo is a German born, Korean-American artist who lives and works in sunny California. She was an avid illustrator as a kid, making her own drawings of the fairy tales and stories that captured her imagination. She studied fine art in Germany and media arts in Korea, exploring various mediums such as large canvas paintings, hand-drawn animations, and puppet films. However, it wasn't until she visited the Bologna Children’s Book Fair where her passion for illustration was reignited. Today she enjoys crafting stories and vivid images for both young readers and adults who remain young at heart.
