Veronica Grijalva
International Licensing Manager
Veronica is an international rights specialist, managing world domination for creators in all languages, helping them conquer new markets and expand their brand worldwide, while building connections across linguistic and cultural borders. With over a decade of experience in the publishing industry specializing in translation and subsidiary rights licensing on both the trade publisher and agency side, Veronica has managed global campaigns for New York Times and internationally bestselling authors, has sold translation rights in 56 languages, has collaborated with international film and TV studios to build global campaigns on behalf of authors, and has built a large international network.
In addition to her position as International Licensing Manager, Veronica is a literary and licensing agent representing a select list of foreign language works for both domestic and translation rights. She is interested in fiction in the following genres: historical, humor, mysteries, horror, romance, sci-fi and any mash-up thereof. For non-fiction she is looking for science or history with a humorous tone, as well as accessible practical non-fiction on financial literacy, aging, and mental health.
Besides foreign languages and travel, her other passions are karaoke, cats, and climbing.
